October 2007
There's nothing like fall in northeastern PA. This shot was taken on a walking bridge that overlooks the river in Nay Aug Park. I don't think I could live in a place that has only one or two seasons.
On a sad note our beloved Bubba passed away late in the summer. 8 years ago he was a stray cat that would follow me around the yard of an apartment Daniela and I rented shortly after we were married. Once winter fell that year we took him in and he was with us ever since. He is sorely missed.
On the bright side we do have two new kittens Eddie and Zoey. I'll be sure to post pictures of them next time.
We did manage to take a trip in August. Daniela and I went to Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Here's a picture of the pier just off of the beach. Maine does not have many beaches but this is one of them. Old Orchard Beach is in close proximity to Portland, Ogunquit and Kennebunkport, which were all very impressive. If you have the opportunity to visit these places do it. You can leave your bathing suit at home, the water is a bit on the chilly side.
One of the many light houses offshore of Portland.
As you can see we had a lot of fun. See you next time.
