KANSAS!

After 11 years I made it back to Kansas to see friends. I stayed with Brent and Molly in Kansas City, and Ted and Justin came into town. The first order of business was barbecue. I ate so much barbecue I almost got the meat sweats that weekend.
















Brent has 4 kids, Maggie - 8, Rosie - 5, Will - 3, and Jimmy (not pictured)6 months.

In order to earn my keep Brent had me mow the lawn. Here Rosie shows me how it's done.

Will and I are bringing plaid shorts back into style.



We had a look at the newly renovated Union Station in downtown Kansas City.

We also had a burger at Fritz's, where a train delivers your food to the table. First Brent makes the order as Will looks on.

On the wrapper of my burger there was a disclaimer stating Fritz's was not responsible for any tingling in the extremities, pain in jaw, tightness in chest, lightheadedness etc. while consuming their burgers.




Jimmy gets in a quick swing before lunch. Just maybe the happiest baby on the planet.




Justin was able to escape before I could snap a picture of him. Shortly after I left a tornado hit Kansas State University causing $20 million in damage.
